About This Course

Understanding what motivates your employees is imperative in today’s workplace. People may be capable of doing a job—but do they truly feel energized by it? The difference between simply performing and fully engaging often comes down to understanding what fuels an individual versus what drains them.

Each person is driven by a unique blend of internal and external motivators. When individuals have opportunities to do more of the work that aligns with what energizes them, they are more fulfilled, more creative, and more engaged. In turn, organizations benefit from increased performance, stronger retention, and the discretionary effort that drives real success.

Unfortunately, many employees—and leaders—don’t have a clear understanding of what truly motivates them or how to apply that knowledge in their daily work.

This interactive program is designed to help you discover:

  • Why motivation matters, both personally and professionally, and its impact on organizational success
  • The role motivation plays for employees to feel engaged, enabled, and energized
  • The key factors that increase (or decrease) job satisfaction and motivation
  • Why people choose to stay—or decide to leave
  • Practical strategies to motivate individuals and teams

Participants will also complete a self-assessment (prior to class) to identify their core motivators, allowing them to create a personal action plan and better support and engage others. Motivation isn’t one-size-fits-all—and when leaders get it right, everything changes.
